Wordless Wednesday...Lemurs Love Pumpkins

Lil' Sister and I headed to the Indianapolis Zoo with her little guy and two of our nephews last Saturday. They were excited to see all of the animals, including the elephants.

Since it was the weekend before Halloween, the zoo was decorated with skeletons, spiderwebs and more. Several of the animals had pumpkins to play with, including my favorite of the day, the lemurs.

The little guys really enjoyed watching the lemurs' antics but eventually one of those blow-up decorations caught their attention. Even lemurs inside a pumpkin can't compete with a kitty cat popping out of a Jack-o-lantern!

(Oops...linked to these parties last night but forgot to put up my post. First time that has happened!)

  1. Looks like a great way to spend the day! I haven't been to a zoo in quite a while. Good times!

  2. Too funny! I just finished editing our pics from the zoo when we were there Friday! We left the place right around 3:00 p.m., and there was a HUGE line waiting to get in for Zoo Boo! ACK! We country folk ran to the van before we were smothered by people!

P.S. Know any tricks to get good dolphin pics? Mine all pretty much you-know-whated! Sigh....

  3. How cute are those Lemurs around the pumpkins? I hope it warms up just a little bit, I would love to take my kids to the zoo.

Thanks for stopping by, I love new friends.
